Black Swan


Natalie Portman success spell the movie with her magic of Black Swan charm, makes this movie pop up into a real life possessed subconscious life of the audience. It is dark and full of competition, how a little girl like Nina struggles to prove herself the best.  The movie that achieve two Oscar Award of Best Editing and the Best Actress prove that the charm of the black swan flow to the world. From the beginning we can see how Portman shows her best ballet choreography with full of energy and animism. Her hard works to obtain the most beautiful ballet moves brings this movie to the top of the thought to know what the movie is about.

Starts from Nina dreams, she dreams that she got the next Swan Queen audition which actually what she wanted in all her entire life. It is become the reality. But, Nina (Portman) can’t take a deep breath even she already obtain the best role in the biggest Ballet Drama because her competitor Lily (Mila Kunis) has her own way to get what she wants which makes Nina feel insecure about her position at that time. She does anything as perfect as she used to, makes everything run smoothly for her show, but it isn’t enough for the black swan role that she needs to learn more how to let go and forget about all the rules to makes the craziest thing away from the rules which can attract the audience to feel it too. She tries and tries to make it right, to prove that she can does both white swan and black swan. In line with her effort to reaches the best, she having over imagination which occur from the intimidation of Lily , hurt herself. It is getting severe when her hallucinations takes her real life, she even can’t think clearly to stop the bloodshed.

Wrapped in a perfect act that Portman provide, this movie become a life and makes the audiences felt eeriness that felt by the main actress, Nina. How she struggle for her own life against her own self from the insecure feeling that makes her felt horrible, not perfect. The mixture of the dance and the sound also produce a dramatic drama which strengthen the red thread of the movie itself. Horror, insecurity, competition, and murderer complete portrayed in one big masterpiece movie.
