The Coolest Stuff and People Combine in One Event

The 'it' Fashion Bazaar in 2011...

The most important lesson for every fashion-savvy – wears your most comfort ensemble and chooses the shortest heels from your compilation. I think that should be applied to all Brightspot visitors. Be ready to enjoy extraordinary long queues just to obtain special discount for BNI CC holders in that evening. Tons selection of fashion stuff that deserve to be visited each one, feels more tiring because the air conditioner barely worked in a room that accommodates more than 100 Indonesian designers creation. Nevertheless, seems that this already anticipated by Brightspot parties. The existence of the café which positioned right in the middle of the event can be the best alternative for visitors to release their fatigue from the hot room and crowded of the fashion lovers who enthusiastic hunted the limited stuff offered.

That’ s the quick review from the opening party of the event that visited with over 5000 visitors at its first event in 2009 to 45,000 at their 2-year anniversary event in May 2011 at Pacific Place. Showcased as the seventh event held in Plaza Senayan 5th floor on 24 November 2011, this event is very interesting due to its collection of Indonesian original handiwork which cannot be lose from international creators. The offered fashion stuff is absolute, from hair trimmings to footwear, ready to escort our day-activities. All packed as unique concept by every participated brands with different themes exuding in every stand they created.

More than 130 original stands from Indonesia joined in this annually front-runner for new fashion and style occurrence, they who already well-known from this event are Cotton Ink, Kle, Geulis, Deer, Monday to Sunday, Satcas, and many more. There are also new brands such as Milcah, Bahama, Ensemble, Nine 12, Happa, Panglook, and many more contributed to show their capability in designing fabrics. The various selections they offer, from very feminine to edgy succeed creates the best ambiance of fashion-breath. For boys who loves to hunt cool boy-stuff they can choose more manly brand which offer assortment stuff such as shoes, t-shirt, shirt, and many more. The enthusiasm of the creative industry lovers also cannot be classified as good, they've entered the stage - very welcoming for this event. Unlikely there won’t be a long queue almost as many as 15 people over the six cashiers provided in Brightspot right? What a full night's opening.

In essence of the growth of  original brand from Indonesia which increasing every year, this time, Brightspot selected broader location two-fold from the last event reaches 3,500 square meters of raw space in the former bowling alley location. Although they picked inconspicuous location, doesn’t make this spot out of reach from the shoppers. Can be say that the enthusiasts of this ‘it’ event increasing from year to year, this can be seen from the bigger location but the queues also getting longer full of mass fashion stuff  hunter. Interestingly, opening party of Brightspot market is by invitation only or brings its main card sponsor – BNI to make this opening-time more private yet exclusive. In fact, this limitation doesn’t work in this fashion bazaar, many of the visitors already prepared to bring the BNI CC or even borrow it from their friends or family. As a result, the event that located in the bigger location defeated by the higher enthusiastic from the fashion shoppers. This proves that the Brightspot is a proper pitch to perform new brand debuts of young designers. All united with the same purpose, advancing the domestic fashion.
